Learning for a Change
Learning for a change means education that encourages us to take thoughtful action to change social conditions and promote human rights, social justice and inclusive communities and schools. Learning for a change is popular education or education that taps "people's capacity for social change through a collective problem-solving approach emphasizing participation, reflection, and critical analysis of social problems" (Bates 1996. pp. 225-226). I am particularly inspired by two approaches to learning. One is action learning, the other is art. Art (coming soon)
